100-year-old woman 'dies from shock' after vile neighbour tries to rape her

A man has been sentenced to life behind bars after a 100-year-old woman died of shock from his attack.

Ankit Punia drunk broke into his neighbor’s house that he was trying to sexually abuse, and she later died in hospital.

A Meerut court in Uttar Pradesh, India, sentenced the patient to life imprisonment on Friday for attempted rape.

“The victim was taken to the government hospital, where she died the next day during the medical check-up.

“According to the post mortem report, the victim was already sick due to age-related problems, but died because of the shock caused by the sexual assault.”

The defendant’s lawyer had alleged that the victim’s family owed about £ 1,000 to Mr Punia’s family and that they had filed a false case against his client so that they would not have to repay the loan and get compensation from the government. had to get.

Mr Garg said: “Since he could not provide any documentary evidence, the Honorable Judge did not take his argument into account.

‘There was no motive. Being heavily drunk, he just couldn’t keep his sex drive.

“It’s the same as some perverts attack babies and children.”

The judge described the act as gruesome and said that a lighter sentence would send a negative signal to society.
