He took chop-muri and sweets with him for his sister. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee came on the train with her favorite food.
On Monday, the Chief Minister left for North Bengal on the Howrah-Malda Janshatabdi Express. The train reached Bolpur station around 4 pm. Birbhum district Trinamool Congress president Anubrat Mandal was waiting there. Trinamool leaders and activists were also present. And there was District Magistrate Bidhan Roy, SP Nagendranath Tripathi.
As soon as the train stopped at Bolpur station, the Chief Minister came up in front of the room door. Trinamool leaders and activists chanted slogans in his name. Standing on the platform, Mamata spoke to Anubrat Mandal. After a long political talk, he said, “Didi, I brought some food for you.” Then he put the chop-muri and sweets in the train compartment.
After meeting the Chief Minister, Anubrat Mandal said, “As she is the Chief Minister of the state, so is our party leader.” So it is our responsibility and duty to meet him while he is passing through Bolpur. We will take necessary advice from him, he will give us advice, he will give some important instructions about team management, that is all. However, Didi was very busy that day, she was in a hurry to leave the train. So there was nothing special except a pleasant exchange.
Mamata Banerjee, in her busy schedule, went down to Bolpur on her way to visit the district and met Anubrat Mandal. He is going to North Bengal on a three-day visit. During this visit, he will hold administrative meetings in 5 districts. On this day he set out for Malda. The three administrative meetings will start on December 6. Apart from Dinajpur, he will also visit Malda, Murshidabad and Nadia districts. There he will hold a review meeting on the development of the area.
