Fancy living in a beautiful Italian hilltop village with stunning views just two hours from one of the most historic cities in the world?
You must surely be asking yourself ‘how much do I have to pay? – but what if we told you that it would be your bank balance which would be boosted by moving there?
The Italian village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio is offering people a cash incentive to move there – to work to help the village “to live”.
You could be paid up to £40,000 and the rent is much cheaper than most places in the UK.

The small settlement needs people to move in and work for it to survive.
The village currently has a population of just 115, and more than half are pensioners.
There are fewer than 20 children under the age of 13 living there.

As part of the deal, you would get a monthly wage for the first three years.
This would be up to the value of €8,000 (£7,200) per year, so £21,000 over three years.
Meanwhile if you would be willing to start a new business that helps the village, you could apply for and be awarded a one-off grant of €20,000 (£18,000).
This could be a food or service industry business, which would help the village prosper.
Also part of the arrangement would be a sweet deal on a rental home, details of how much you would pay are yet to be established but it would be a lot cheaper than a UK city.
In return, you are expected to become a resident of Italy and live there for a total of five years, minimum.
The offer is also only available to people under the age of 40.
Asked if this deal was inspired by €1 houses which are reportedly often advertised in Italy, Mayor Fabio Santavicca told CNN Travel : “We’re not selling anything to anyone – this isn’t a business move.
“We just want to enable the village to continue to live.”
People have been flocking to apply for the deal, with 1,500 reportedly putting their name in the hat since the deal was first announced earlier in October.
Mr Santavicca admitted that young couples were most likely to be successful in their application.
You still have until November 15 to apply.
