A murder suspect allegedly knifed his ex-girlfriend before chatting to her new partner as they waited for police.
Mum-of-two Bianca G, 27, was stabbed repeatedly by her ex, Cenk D, 29, in Lubeck, northern Germany around 8am on Friday, September 11, foreign media reports.
The pair broke up about three weeks ago and Bianca had a new boyfriend, Tim B, at the flat that morning, according to German newspaper Bild.
Cenk allegedly launched into the attack after Bianca told him about Tim.
Tim, who fled when Cenk broke in, called the emergency services and told them that his girlfriend had been stabbed at 8.07am.
Cenk then came over and started talking to him as he was still on the call in front of the house.
Shocking photos show the two men sitting on the front porch talking calmly, with Cenk soaked in blood.
It is not clear if the children, a nine-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy, were at the house at the time of the attack.
Eyewitness Thomas T, 43, told Bild: “That morning I saw him hiding in the basement for a long time.
“When I came down he was pressed against the wall so as not to be discovered. He had a knife with him.”
It is not clear if this was before or after the stabbing.
Neighbours said that the police had been called several times before the day of the crime.
Landlady Muebire S., 47, added: “It is inexplicable to me.”
She added: “The two separated three weeks ago, and then Cenk moved out of the apartment.”
Senior Public Prosecutor Dr Ulla Hingst said: “After the woman told the accused that the man was her new boyfriend, the accused is said to have started to stab the woman with a knife.”
The coroner later confirmed that Bianca, who worked as an office clerk, died from multiple stab wounds.
Cenk has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
