Cooking for a family can be really difficult – especially when you have a budget and certain tastes you account for.
If you have to satisfy yourself, partner and kids with a weekly shop, it can prove nigh on impossible.
And the chances are you’ll find yourself lacking all the treats within hours of getting the shop home – or delivered.
Kids are notoriously funny when it comes to food, with fussy eaters galore across the UK, including right here in Birmingham.
What a joy it is, then, to see a youngster’s meal plan go viral – with mums and dads praising it.
The boy, aged six, was showcased by his parents after leaving them in stitches with his idea of what they could all eat each weeknight.
The boy’s list, which has captured the attention of parents across the country, has been hailed for utilising leftovers.
But it does not take a genius to work out his favourite meal of the bunch – because it appears TWICE.
The cute lad even rounds off the suggestion with a “yay” – in case his parents needed any persuading.
The boy’s plan begins on Saturday, with a takeaway suggested.
On Sunday, meanwhile, he proposes the family enjoy an Italian treat in the from of a pizza.
Chicken then follows on Monday, according to the lad, before fish and chips “yay!” on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, it is fish yet again – in case Omega 3 was in short supply.
And Thursday is, erm, leftover fish and chips again.
On Friday? Yes, you guessed it. It’s yet more fish.
Saturday, though, sees a return to pizza, with the leftovers from… well, five nights before.
Sunday is rounded off with another takeaway. Probably fish and chips.
