A businessman accidentally appeared naked during a Zoom conversation with the Brazilian president after forgetting to turn off his camera.
The bizarre incident reportedly happened during a virtual meeting with Jair Bolsonaro, hosted by Paulo Skaf, the president of the Federation of Industries of the State of Sao Paulo.
President Bolsonaro interrupted him when he saw the naked man working as an advisor to the federation, according to local reports.
He reportedly said, “Paulo, there is a colleague in the last square, he has left, is he all right?”
Industry Minister Paulo Guedes, who was sitting next to Bolsonaro, then said, “There’s a man out there in the shower, naked. There is a naked man there who isolates himself naked, great.
“The man got hot during the call, so he took a cold shower.”
Bolsonaro is said to have responded with, “Unfortunately we have seen.
“It was a shaky photo, but unfortunately we saw it.”
The man who appeared naked has not been identified.
Bolsonaro has been criticized for tackling the Covid-19 pandemic, with Brazil being the worst hit country in Latin America.
He repeatedly spoke out against social distance and isolation, and recently spoke out against Sao Paulo Governor Joao Doria, saying that companies should play hard with Doria because he is “one man who decides the future of Brazil’s economy”. .
Doria, along with other state governors in Brazil, has declared exclusion of the virus in his state to stop the virus from spreading, closing businesses despite Bolsonaro openly criticizing him.
According to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University, Brazil has suffered 203,165 COVID-19 cases with 13,999 deaths.
