Chargers add WR Keenan Allen (illness) to injury report – Press Enterprise

The bad news continued for the Chargers on Saturday afternoon.

Wide receiver Keenan Allen was added to the injury report with an unspecified illness status and was ruled questionable for Sunday’s home game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Allen, who hasn’t missed a game since 2016, has 53 catches for 548 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Backup cornerback Brandon Facyson was given an illness tag on Friday’s injury report. On Saturday, Facyson was moved to the COVID-19 reserve list.

The Chargers are thin at cornerback with Casey Hayward questionable for a non-injury-related reason. The team promoted defensive back Quenton Meeks from the practice squad.

The Chargers might also be thin at defensive end and running back with Joey Bosa and Troymaine Pope in the concussion protocol and doubtful for Sunday.

The team promoted defensive end Jessie Lemonier and running back Kalen Ballage, and signed defensive back Jaylen Watkins to the practice squad.
