A friendly black bear that became famous after a viral video showed it playing with a group of hikers has been spotted again – this time trying to hug a woman.
The wild animal hit headlines across the globe earlier this week when it was seen stalking a trio of hikers at Pat Chipinque Ecological Park in San Pedro Garza García, Mexico.
But it now appears the unusual interaction with its human counterparts is nothing new.
Footage has now emerged of the same curious creature trying to hug a woman near the Chipinque Ecological Park.
Like the hikers, the woman manages to remain astonishingly calm as the bear sniffs her legs and attempts to play.
It follows her as she tries to walk away before appearing to hug her leg.
The man behind the camera manages to distract her unusual companion but it continues to trail behind her when the clip comes to an end.
Chipinque Ecological Park officials say it is the same bear that was caught on camera earlier this week.
The clip was shared on Facebook by Parques y Vida Silvestre de Nuevo Leon yesterday.
They wrote: “In the presence of bear black, remember to stay calm avoid putting your life or the animal’s at risk.
“Don’t forget, it’s an unpredictable specimen of wildlife.”
More than 45,000 people have since seen it, with hundreds flocking to the comments to voice their thoughts.
“Talking to him like he’s a dog haha,” one commented.
Others slammed deforestation for forcing the creature out of its normal habitat into more populated areas.
