Gogglebox will go off the air for a few months, Channel 4 has confirmed.
The Friday night staple has kept a lot of people busy during the shutdown, with cast members letting viewers down with their funny comments and jokes.
However, in an ad promoting an upcoming episode, a cast member revealed that the current series is coming to an end – and viewers will have to wait months for the new one.
Meanwhile, other cast members took to Twitter to comment on the show that culminated her current run, Birmingham Live Reports.
The Siddiqui family, originally from Derbyshire, in the East Midlands, tweeted: “As we say goodbye to Series 15, enjoy tonight’s #Gogglebox episode. It was a great series despite huge challenges. Well-executed team gogglebox, we salute you.
“So we will meet people again, in September, on Friday 9 pm, # Ch4 Enjoy the summer and stay safe.”
The series started in February and entertained us during the coronavirus crisis.
