One of the worst sectors to be affected by Covid 19 has been international travel.
In the midst of a global pandemic, many holiday hotspots have imposed strict guidelines on who can enter their country. So it’s no wonder many of us are opting to stay closer to home for our hols.
But with Covid 19 with us for “many years to come”, according to Chief Medical officer Chris Whitty, thousands are now looking to buy a place for their staycations – which can save you money in the long run – as well as being very convenient.
Willow Park luxury homes based in Salford Priors, near Alcester in Warwickshire has seen an increase in sales in recent weeks.
The park’s co-owner Kelly Broadway told BirminghamLive: “Business in this sector is definitely picking up since Covid 19. I think a lot of people have re-evaluated their lifestyle and made many changes, feeling more comfortable holidaying in the UK.
“We have noticed a big interest in our luxury lodges.
“We are fortunate to be located in a spot of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the Cotswolds, neighbouring Shakespeare’s Stratford upon Avon. A luxury development is very sought after here.”
In the holiday lodge market, there is something for every budget and most companies allow you to sublet your home when you are not using it – so it can bring you in an income.
Here is a selection of locations and homes available to buy in the UK right now.
