I'm A Celeb fan gets unique tattoo to mark show's run in Wales

One I’m A Celeb fan has made sure he will never forget that the show came to North WQales with a unique tattoo on his leg.

Phil Norval has a permanent memory of this year’s TV series thanks to an ink cartridge from his cousin.

The tatt features key elements from this year’s show – including hosts Ant and Dec, the castle, and some of the pilot creatures, NorthWalesLive reports.

Phil, 47, from Rhyl, has added the I’m A Cele work to his body art collection, including ET, the Lion King, Finding Nemo and Star Wars.

Getting the tattoo was an ordeal in itself where he got three hoiurs and was done by his cousin Michael James Norval who works at New Skin Tattoo Studio in Abergele.

Phil said: “I’ve always been a huge fan of Ant and Dec and I love all of their shows so was really excited to hear that I’m a Celebrity was coming to North Wales.

“I thought I might as well get a tattoo to mark the occasion because it was never going to happen again.

“I talked to my cousin Mike about having done something and he came up with a design for me.

“I had it done on the back of my leg – it was probably one of the most painful in the middle of my thigh.”

He added, “I’m covered in tattoos, I’ve got about 20, including ET and Finding Nemo, but this one is probably the most random – it’s completely different.

“I am very happy with it, but nobody knows about it anymore.

“I hope Ant and Dec hear about it.”

Phil said: “I’m not just saying this because the show is filmed in North Wales, but I really think this is the best series to date.

“The camp mates are a great bunch. I really want Jordan North to win.”
