An Instagram model who was reported missing by her concerned family has been found dead days later.
Adriana Murrieta Trevino, 29, disappeared on November 1 after flying between two cities in Mexico.
The glamorous influencer was reported missing after flying into the city of Guadalajara, in the state of Jalisco, from Culiacan in Sinaloa State.
At the time of her flight, she was wearing a shirt and black leggings, according to her family.
Her sister Freya asked the authorities and people to take down all posts related to the model’s disappearance on November 3.
Hours later, she posted: “We wanted to share a different ending, or certainly a less painful one.
“We ask for respect and discretion.
“Thanks a lot for worrying and following developments, we know that Adriana meant a lot to many people.”
It is unclear if her body was found with signs of violence.
An autopsy will take place to establish the exact cause of death and if any crime took place.
Figures from the Secretariat of Public Security show 39 women were killed in the state of Jalisco between January and September this year.
It comes weeks after the body of a model mum who disappeared while out shopping in Mexico was found in a mass grave.
Yessenia Estefania Alvarado, 24, was kidnapped by a gang of four men in a pickup trick in Cajeme, in the north-western state of Sonora.
The mum-of-one, from Ciudad Obregon in Mexico, was reported as missing by her parents on August 19.
Her body was one of seven found in a shallow grave in the area of Canal Bajo, in Cajeme, on September 20.
Her grieving brother Juan Carlos Alvarado Rivera later posted online: “Fly high sister.
“I’m going to miss you so much my sister, my life partner, see you soon to be back together, my Queen.”
