The Islamic State have killed 59 people in a jihadist terror attack in a village in northwestern Nigeria, early reports suggest.
Attackers reportedly stormed the village of Felo in Africa in the early afternoon, killing 59 people, the head of anti-jihadist militia Babakura Kolo, confirmed to AFP.
AFP, a French news agency, claimed the attack was confirmed by local militia and a local village chief.
Jhadi fighters were from the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), a branch of ISIS split from Boko Haram, the Inquirer reports.
