The mansion formerly owned by disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein will reportedly be torn down following its sale.

The infamous compound, where Epstein sexually assaulted many of his young victims, has been obtained by Florida real estate developer Todd Michael Glaser, who tells the Wall Street Journal he’s planning to demolish the home and build a new 14,000-square-foot mansion.

A deal on the property is set to close next month, with Glaser securing the plot for US$18 million – down from the initial $22 million asking price when the property hit the market back in July.

The compound, which is heavily featured in the Netflix docuseries Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, features waterfront views in the renowned Estate Section on El Brillo Way. It also has views of the Tarpon and Everglade islands.
