Discount supermarket chain Lidl has launched a new loyalty scheme allowing shoppers to get money off food, cinema tickets Sky TV and broadband.
There will also be weekly coupons and scratch cards on offer through the mobile app – with chances to get up to £20 off your week’s shopping.
The Lidl Plus app will offer rewards each time it is scanned at the checkout, reports The Mirror.
The digital scratchcard in the app will run every time you shop – and will let you win anything from 25p to £20 off your bill.
And every week customers will get coupons offering up to 25 per cent off some items.
The app will include special offers on products and services from partners such as up to 40% off Sky TV and Broadband and 40% off cinema tickets.
Shoppers can also use the app to store all their digital receipts in one place, as well as browse weekly leaflets and seasonal magazines on the go.
Christian Härtnagel, chief executive at Lidl GB said: “Our customers know that we offer the best quality products at market leading prices. We’ve designed Lidl Plus so we can provide an even better, tailored, shopping experience for our customers, as well as to thank them for their loyalty.”
To activate it, you’ll need to register your details, including your email address and phone number, online.
Once you’re in, you’ll be asked to select your local store.
All coupons are for one-use only and have an expiry date of two weeks from when you active them.
Lidl said these offers will change weekly and will take into account what shoppers buy.
To connect your shop to the app, you’ll be asked to scan your Lidl virtual loyalty card generated within the app at the checkout.
A digital version of your receipt will then appear in the app.
The supermarket said that all customers in England, Wales and Scotland will be able to use Lidl Plus.
