Man who had knife stuck in head goes back to work just three days later

A man who has one knife stuck in the side of his head is not back to work until three days after the ordeal.

Christopher Harker, aka Haka, 38, was seen in a viral video with a knife sticking out of his head.

The video left social media users dumbfounded, and many wondered if the Cape Town man had survived.

But he not only managed to survive, he returned to work a few days after the attack on November 11.

He explains how the knife got stuck in his head, Mr. Harker said The daily voice : “A man came out of nowhere, I felt a hard blow and started to chase him, then I realized I had put a knife in the right side of my head.

‘I slowed down when I realized I could hurt myself even more. I tried to pull the knife out, but others told me to leave it and wait for an ambulance.

I sat down and waited for the ambulance to arrive. When they arrived, I got into the car myself and was still able to call my family to tell them I was on my way to the hospital.

“I walked into the hospital myself and people looked shocked.” Mr. Harker returned to his job at T’s Liquor World in the Rocklands Shopping Center, where the attack took place.

He revealed that he had received four stitches on the wound and is now taking two painkillers a day.

What’s more shocking, however, is that he also escaped death a few years ago.

He recalled: Three years ago, I was shot seven times and was told I had been pronounced dead on the spot. My family saw me with a white sheet covering my body.

“I was on the street in the rain. I then got up and walked into the house I was closest to.

“The ambulance arrived and tied me to a board and rushed me to the hospital.”

SAPS spokesman Captain FC van Wyk said Mitchells Plain police are currently investigating the incident.
