Video shows a father of a drug dealer who was chased by police with his car in a lake with his two young children in the back seat.
Bystanders in Pasco County, Florida, watched as a Jonathan Mark DeLoach crashed his car into a lake in a high-speed police chase.
Dashcam footage shows DeLoach’s golden sedan turning off the freeway and speeding through suburban streets before realizing he won’t be able to avoid getting caught.
It then accelerates into a lake in the middle of a residential area, and the vehicle lands in the water and begins to sink.
Several Good Samaritans then jump into the water to rescue two screaming children in the backseat of the car.
An eyewitness can be heard shouting, “There’s a baby in the back!
“Two babies! F ** king idiots! You’re sick!”
A woman also managed to escape the vehicle, while a man prevented DeLoach from freeing the crime scene.
Crying children were taken from the car and other witnesses came to the rescue to make sure they had not been injured.
Police quickly arrived and discovered a bag of crystal meth floating in the lake, and DeLoach is considered a known drug dealer.
The 30-year-old was arrested on several charges, including child abuse, possession of methamphetamine, driving with a suspended driver’s license and reckless driving.
DeLoach was turned into handcuffs and held in custody along with the passenger of the vehicle.
