ONE: The Lakers will take on the Rockets after their thrilling Game 7 victory over OKC, setting up James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Co., against LeBron James and Anthony Davis when the second-round playoff series begins on Friday. TWO: The Clippers are well rested heading into tonight’s second-round series playoff opener against the Denver Nuggets (6 p.m.), who are exhausted and tired after holding off Utah in Game 7 on Tuesday. Clippers reporter Mirjam Swanson has the latest.

THREE: After Mookie Betts saved the Dodgers with a home run in the bottom of the ninth to send them to extra innings against the Diamondbacks, the Dodgers came-from-behind again in the 10th inning to pull out a 3-2 victory.

FOUR: Did you see Jo Adell’s spectacular catch that robbed the Padres’ Fernando Tatis Jr., of extra bases? It was the only Angels’ highlight in an 11-4 loss, Jeff Fletcher writes.

FIVE: Rams reporter Kevin Modesti writes: It was his worst moment. It was his finest hour. It’s one of the memories from Taylor Rapp’s rookie year that make the Rams so happy to have him fit and ready for the start of his second year, a status confirmed this week with his return to practice after a knee problem.
