A Massachusetts man redefined the term “blue balls” during a gender reveal party gone wrong last month.
And the result was a viral video that has been viewed more than 750,000 times and left many men doubled over in sympathy pain.
Tom Cressotti, 43, and his wife, Kristin, 36, planned the party in East Longmeadow, Mass. to reveal the gender of their second child, with four-year-old daughter Ella in attendance for the big event on Aug. 30.
The couple, who have been married for six years, opted to use cannon cartridges filled with powder — blue for a boy, pink for a girl — to let their gathered friends and family know the gender of their child, who is due in February 2021.
But Tom Cressotti was holding the cartridge the wrong way and, following the appropriate countdown by those in attendance, inadvertently blasted himself in the crotch with blue powder, sending him to the lawn while clutching his family jewels.
