Princess Eugenie and husband 'move into Frogmore Cottage'

Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank have reportedly moved into Frogmore Cottage, Meghan and Harry’s Grade II listed home.

Obviously, the Sussexes will keep the residence near Windsor Castle, but Eugenie and Mr. Brooksbank, who married in 2018, will share ownership.

Frogmore Cottage underwent major work to turn five properties back into one home for the Duke, Duchess and their infant son Archie – with all accessories and fixtures paid for privately by the couple.

Meghan and Harry retired as senior working royals in March and repaid the £ 2.4 million in taxpayers’ money spent on the cottage, which was a gift from Harry’s grandmother the Queen.

The couple were able to pay the refund after signing a lucrative Netflix deal that is said to be worth over £ 100 million and is currently paying commercial rent for the Berkshire property.

Since stepping down as a senior royal, the Duchess has already begun her life in the commercial world, narrating a Disney film about a family of elephants and their journey through Africa that was available to stream in April.

The couple also founded the charity Archewell in October, replacing their SussexRoyal Foundation, which has formally closed.

They have worked on the foundation, which is expected to stand up for issues they support, including racial justice, gender equality, climate change, mental health and online hate speech.

Meanwhile, the reported new tenants of Frogmore Cottage announced they were expecting their first child in September, a few weeks before their second wedding anniversary.

The baby becomes the ninth great-grandchild of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, after the arrival of their eighth – son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

But even though their mother is a princess, their father has no title and so the child will be born into a female line of the royal family – meaning they will simply be Master or Miss Brooksbank.

They will not be HRH and have no title unless the Queen decides to step in and grant Mr. Brooksbank – the European brand manager of Casamigos Tequila, co-founded by George Clooney – a county or issue a Letters Patent to amend the rules.

Eugenie’s parents, Andrew and Sarah, become grandparents for the first time and the baby boy or girl will be born 11th in line to the throne.
