PV Sindhu reached the final of the BWF World Tour Finals, losing to Akane Yamaguchi of Japan in the semifinals.

World champion shuttler PV Sindhu reached the final of the BWF World Tour Finals. In the semifinals, he lost to Akane Yamaguchi of Japan. The result of the game is 21-15, 15-21, 21-19. Olympic double medalist Sindhu reached the final of the World Tour Finals for the third time with this.

In 2016, Sindhu became the first Indian to win the World Tour Finals title. Indus is currently ranked seventh in the world rankings, while Yamaguchi is ranked third. Earlier in the day, Sindhu had started 12-7 ahead of each other in terms of statistics of mutual duality. Sindhu won bronze at this year’s Tokyo Olympics. He then lost in the semifinals of the French Open, the Indonesian Masters and the Indonesian Open. Sindhu is naturally relieved after overcoming the obstacles of that semi-final. The Indian shuttler was runner-up at the Swiss Open last March.
