Ripple says it is launching a new product that focuses on working capital lending.
In a new vacancy, the startup in San Francisco says it is looking for a director of product management to lead the platform.
‘This person markets a new loan product from RippleNet customers from concept to launch. This person will bring in strong leadership skills as they will need to collaborate intensively with cross-functional in-house teams and the financial ecosystem of partners and customers. ”
While many crypto companies have launched platforms that allow users to take out loans with digital assets as collateral, the vacancy listing does not state whether XRP will be part of its new offering.
Ripple says the new employee will be responsible for determining how the company can serving new and potential RippleNet customers with working capital loans.
‘[The product manager will] create the relevant structures to properly implement a functional loan offering, develop customer empathy around issues related to working capital needs and cross-border payments, [and] develop risk opportunities to understand how customers can offer new loans. “
While the company has not yet made an official announcement, Ripple is also looking for a liquidity personnel software engineer who will help the company design a crypto trading platform.
