Step into the vast, £674k home that 'nobody wants to buy'

Any potential buyers are being put off by what you find when walking through front door

A vast, four-bedroom home in a desirable New York neighbourhood should be selling like hotcakes for £674,000 ($828,000).

But any potential buyers are being put off by what you find when walking through front door, reports the Daily Star.

The property, which boasts eight rooms in total and two full bathrooms, would be perfect for a family who are looking for a quiet neighbourhood.

But the home – on the market through realtor.com – hides a secret for inside the massive 2,640 sq ft property shows the shocking condition of the residence.

The kitchen needs a serious deep clean and renovation, while the bathroom might need a few grand put in to complete a repair.

Even neighbours in the area can agree the property is a ‘terrible’ place.

One area resident, who remained anonymous, told New York Post: “This is a beautiful neighbourhood and the house [is] terrible.”

The homeowner continued: “I don’t know what happened to that house, why they kept it like that or why the city didn’t do anything.

“I’m sure that, because of the price, nobody wants to buy that kind of house.”
