The famous Tic Tac UFO used an “act of war” when it was tracked by US fighter pilots from USS Nimitz, a former Top Gun has said.
Commander David Fravor told of how he chased the UFO shaped like a floating white round object off the US west coast in November 2004 and said: “I don’t like to get into little green men but I don’t think we’ve developed it.”
He was flying a mission off the USS Nimitz when he spotted it and said it seemed to dive below the water, resurface, and speed out of sight as he approached.
Fellow fighter jet Chad Underwood filmed the object after immediately going out to find it when Commander Fravor told him about it back at base.
The retired naval pilot and retired Commander of “The Black Aces” told the Lex Fridman podcast: “He goes out and when he first sees it he gets a return radar return.
“The little green square is just sitting there it’s not moving.
“When he goes to lock it up he puts a bunch of energy on it.
“He’s telling the radar stare down the line of sight whatever is there I want you to grab it and build a trace file on it which will tell you where it is, how fast it is and the direction that it’s going.
“The radar is smart enough that when the signal comes back if it’s messed with, it will give you indications that it’s being jammed.
“It goes full into it’s being jammed into every mode you can see. You can tell it’s being jammed.
“When you actively jam another platform that’s technically an act of war.”
He went on rubbish claims the UFO was man-made.
The seasoned fighter pilot said: “I don’t like to get into little green men but I don’t think we’ve developed it.
“When I got too close to it it decided I’m out of here and did something we had never seen.”
Commander Fravor continued: “To hide something like that for 16 years… if we had a technology like this that could change how mankind travels.
“I think you can hide things for a while. This is a giant leap in technology. I don’t think there’s papers on a gravity based propulsion system.
“I think it was a hard object, it was aware that we were there it reacted exactly like I was another aeroplane.
“It never was offensive on us, it just mirrored us. “
He added: “Throwing sh*t out in the middle of where people are doing exercises is the most preposterous I’ve heard. Is it possible? Yes. It’s more likely they are not doing that!”
Last year Mr Underwood broke his 15-year silence over his famous tic tac film when he said: “It was going from like 50,000 feet to 100 feet in like seconds, which is not possible.”
The authenticity of his film – which was first made public in 2017 – was finally confirmed by the Pentagon last year.
Officials said they still had no idea what the recorded object was.
Weather phenomenon, manmade craft and birds have all been ruled out.
