WATCH: Cop rescues man in wheelchair from oncoming train with seconds to spare

A California man was seconds from death if not for the actions of a quick-actioned police officer.

In dramatic bodycam footage released by the Lodi Police Department, a man in a wheelchair can be seen stuck on a set of tracks as a train was travelling towards him at a fast speed.

Enter officer Erika Urrea, who was patrolling the area when she found the helpless man. The video caught off Urrea’s body cam shows the cop exiting her patrol car and running towards the distressed man as the railroad crossing arms come down at the cross section.

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

With only seconds to react, the officer first tries to push the wheelchair off the tracks. It wouldn’t budge.

As train horns blared in the background, Urrea asks the man: “Can you get up?”
