A trio of women are alleged to be behind the killing of a truck driver wrongly suspected of being a paedophile, it has been reported.
Dad-of-one Dmitry Chikvarkin died from horrific head injuries after he was attacked by the parents of two girls he gave a lift to.
Chikvarkin had been asked to take the girls, aged three and 10, to a carer at the request of their parents in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sverdlovsk, Russia.
Upon return, the eldest daughter is alleged to have lied and told her parents Chikvarkin touched her “below the waist.”
Their mum, along with two friends, is alleged to have attacked the man with a metal pipe and impaled him.
Police have said two of the three alleged female killers remain on the run, as does a man who is suspected of participating in the attack.
A friend of Chikvarkin told Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper: “He just wanted to help by giving the kids a lift, but he was killed.”
A law enforcement source told Znak newspaper: “They found the man who previously gave a lift to the children.
“First, he was raped…
“Then they smashed his head with the same pipe, breaking his skull.”
A report by Komsomolskaya Pravda claimed Dunaeva, Mikhailova and male suspect Mikhail Ivanova, 27, were the main attackers.
The other woman and two males were the “support team”.
A former colleague of Chikvarkin, who was a former police driver, told E1: “He came to the police after serving in the army.
“He was young and handsome, and got a job in the duty unit as a driver.
“He was a brave, fearless man.
“He always helped us detain criminals.
“We caught murderers, robbers, rapists – all sorts of criminals.”
