Harvester restaurants across Egland are now taking bookings after being told they will be allowed to reopen from July 4.
All restaurants will have to have new rules in place to keep staff and customers safe.
That will include minimising the number of people inside at any one time, new hand cleaning stations, disposable condiment containers, a record of customer contact details, one-way systems and enhanced cleaning.
A spokesman said: “The safety and well-being of our guests and team members is our top priority. In order that we can meet the current UK Govt guidelines regarding safe distancing, for now, the maximum number of guests per table booking will be six.
“We are looking forward to being able to welcome you back but there will be some temporary difficulties regarding the supply of a number of ingredients for specific dishes on our menus, and some dishes may not be available at all. Therefore, the descriptions on menus may not accurately reflect the contents of the dish. We’re working hard to solve these short term issues, so please bear with us.
“Thank you for your understanding and we very much look forward to seeing you soon!”
They added: “We look forward to welcoming guests in England back to Harvester from July 4th and will be putting in place a number of specific measures at the Harvester Salad Bar, ensuring the safety and comfort of both guests and our teams.
“We’re delighted that guests will still be able to enjoy their unlimited salad, personalised just the way they like it, but we will reopen the Salad Bar with our team helping guests to whatever they fancy.
“Similarly the Harvester Breakfast Bar will be served for guests by the team in the same way. Tables and the space around the Food Hub will observe the safe distancing guidance and we will ensure rigorous standards of cleanliness with hand sanitiser stations throughout the restaurant.
“Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can make your meal your own at Harvester. We believe that specially chosen ingredients should be at the heart of all our dishes, and it’s the little extras we add that make them your Harvester favourites every time.”
